We import global brands of chocolate, biscuits, frozen foods, beer, fruit juice and water, with an emphasis on Belgian specialty beers and fine chocolates. We are the exclusive distributor for more than 15 Belgian Breweries such as Chimay, Lindemans, Delirium, Rochefort, St-Feuillien, Kasteel, Bush,… We also own the distribution rights for Mondelez Foods, including Toblerone and Cote d’Or.
We are currently looking for a Brand Manager based in Beijing to support our beer division.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Communication Regular communication with supplier Complete annual marketing & sales plan and report to supplier Give feedback on issues and complains to supplier to improve problems Supplier visit to China: arrange the schedule, meetings, trade visit, etc. Follow up on relevant official documents on a yearly basis: contract, distribution letter, trademark registration certificate, etc.
Purchase-Sales-Inventory Management Present purchase plan in line with supplier’s target and sales forecast Monitor sales and inventory every week, coordinate with purchase department to adjust orders in due time to avoid expiring stocks Coordinate with custom department to ensure the importing process efficiency Keep a record of all problems for each order (if any) and report back to supplier
POSM Management Purchase from supplier: based on supplier’s POSM support, inquire with sales to select items from POSM catalogue and decide annual purchase quantity, monitor stock to adjust purchase orders Produce in China: based on supplier’s budget, inquire with sales to develop locally produced new items, monitor stock and adjust production orders
Marketing Planning Create & update marketing materials and provide to sales including brand presentations, pictures, videos, posters, WeChat stickers, etc. Develop and implement marketing & promotion plan on an annual / seasonal basis according to the goals set by supplier and VDG / EGD, ensure the quality and effect Responsible for budget allocation, tracking and monitoring, balance marketing expense and sales achievement Coordinate with media manager to seek opportunities to increase brand visibility at the lowest cost Trade check and visit clients at regular times
Sales Support Understand and analyze performance, trends, market conditions and other contributing factors to help brand gain sales increase Work closely with sales team to create sales strategies to achieve overall goals for the brand Provide beer training and other support to sales and clients Handle customer complaints Update product and POSM catalogue according to the need
Position Requirements:
Experience in relevant sectors, marketing and sales experience are assets. Autonomy & Excellent communication skills. Foreigner candidate preferred, open to Chinese Native with experience abroad. English, candidate with Chinese knowledge will be preferred. Strong interest in the Fast Growing Consumers Goods, especially beer brands. Open mind-set to different cultures and good taste in design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
