? Participate proactively in the business development activities of the China offices, including assisting with identification of key client targets, systematic pursuit of client targets, and follow-up. ? Participate in the organization and execution of client-facing events, including preparing guest lists and invitations, ensuring that agendas, presentation materials, and/or meeting handouts are developed, produced and distributed; providing onsite support and other related tasks. ? Ensure effective, positive, and productive communication with and within the China offices and the broader Asia region, including promptly responding to questions from BD&C staff and lawyers. ? Work with colleagues across the Firm to ensure that visits by Firm lawyers to and from the China offices are well planned. ? Assist in the maintenance of Chinese site and other Chinese social media and coordinate on the posts of firm news and publications in Chinese. ? Assist in maintenance of client relationship management system and keep relevant data updated. ? Provide support to the BD&C Manager for China in the execution of all business development plans and activities for the region. ? Ability to perform tasks and researches using both external and the Firm's internal applications and databases. ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. ? Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English. ? Thorough knowledge of Firm's computer-based word processing software and e-mail system. ? 1-2 years of professional services experience in foreign law firm required. ? Fluency in both Mandarin Chinese and English.
