Job Description Summary The Detector Architect Engineer has design responsibility to deliver image detector for medical devices (including CT, PET, DSA), He/She need to lead the practical design, new technology investigation, the platform concept definition, and the verification/validation. Primary Responsibilities: Developing analysis methods and models to quantify detector subsystem interactions and their effects on image quality. Work with cross function team to find design solution to improve/ensure detector imaging performance. Collaborate with system to understand the needs for image quality and evaluate image quality, new features, and technologies. Support requirements traceability, design process and subsystem verification activities Support MFG to define correction and calibration process, support IB and service team to resolve IQ related complaints and improve customer satisfaction. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Nuclear Physics, Biomedical Engineering, X-Ray Imaging, Image Processing, or closely related discipline 10+ years relevant working experience Good experience and design skill in image processing, signal processing and mathematical modeling. Proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for challenging design problems Rich experience of using Matlab or other tools for simulation and data analysis. Excellent teamwork, coordination, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Design experience in medical imaging devices, especially in CT detector or X-ray detector Effective oral and written English communication skills, global project experience will be plus.
