Specific Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
61 Acquiring, compiling, organizing and managing key macroeconomic data, data on infrastructure sectors and related financial markets data, as well as micro data (firm level transactions, surveys etc.) 61 Supporting research and analytical work in the department and across the Bank 61 Analyzing the relevant studies, documents and statistics and providing timely, high-quality and fit for purpose information, statistics and reports on key issues in infrastructure sectors to support development of strategies. 61 Updating and maintaining the department’s data and archives to high standards 61 Manage procurement of relevant data 61 Conducting any other work as required by supervisors.
Candidate Requirements 61 Bachelor or Master’s degree in economics, public policy, development studies, statistics, data analytics or equivalent. 61 Excellent proficiency of professional writing and speaking of English. 61 Ability to think independently while working under supervision. 61 Proficiency in common statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, Python or equivalent), data analysis, and data visualization as well as Microsoft Office programs word, excel, power point and others. Familiarity with geospatial data will be considered favorably. 61 Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar position in relevant organizations. Experience in multi-cultural organizations will be a significant plus. 61 Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. 61 A high level of personal integrity, self-motivation, sense of responsibility and genuine commitment to corporate values of the AIIB. 61 Demonstrated ability to work within teams in a cooperative manner with a clear vision to add value. 61 Ability to work under tight deadlines.
