Basic responsibilities: Responsible for Chinese patent portfolio and other patent relevant affairs Team-up with Lead/support attorney in handling BPU tasks, actively share workload and deliver CN voice in IPU. Support R&D or application projects as local attorney, preparing new draft, SOTA, FOA analysis report with supervision. Provide comments on invalidation and infringement cases for CN prospective Support local project/innovation/business from patent side Provide IP training to APAC team and update legislation development in China to global IP team Participate Business target working group in global IP team. Support IP affairs in the other jurisdictions in APAC. Team up with the other Chinese patent attorney(s) for workload sharing Team up with Admin team, keep polishing prosecution workflow and database update. Other tasks or responsibilities relevant to IP
Qualifications: MSc in biology or relevant field Must have Chinese patent attorney certification Preferred to have Chinese general law certification Fluent at English, orally or in written.
