Hitachi Energy uses a very high-end system for its control, protection, and monitoring. This system is called as MACH. This computerized system is built with the state-of-the-art electronics, microprocessors, and digital signal processors, connected by high performance industry standard busses and fiber optic communication links.
Your responsibilities:
* You will organize and execute activities related to MACH system testing and commissioning work including responsibility for organizing test equipment. * You will take part in pre-commissioning meeting, planning and documentation preparation, and prepare MACH system related commissioning ITP (Inspection and testing plan) and testing procedure/ check list as per the plant system configurations. * You will assist in technical discussions with the client and the client’s consultants for MACH related topics and provide constructive suggestions and proposal especially in the upgraded project. * You will participate and analyze any disturbances that may occur on the system during the commissioning and operation. * You will troubleshoot the problems at job side or remotely, provide solutions and implement, throughout the system lifecycle. * You will support in tender work for MACH system commissioning scope includin gcreating work plans, cost estimates, budget etc. * Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your background:
* You hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. * Minimum 5 years of commissioning experience. * Experience form Control and Protection or SCADA scope from design or testing project stages. * Experience from substations or FACTS (HVDC, STATCOM, SVC). * Experience in Commissioning work in plants of different sizes, complexities, and technologies. * Experience with MACH, Intouch, IEC61850, FACTS projects, programming of IED relays is an advantage. * Excellent English speaker, good communication skills.
