Your role and responsibilities In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product, and/or solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP). Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions. You will be mainly accountable for: 61 Develop new functionalities for protection relay applications, including the preparation of design description documents, coding, and conducting thorough tests to ensure quality and performance. 61 Provide expert support for customer cases. 61 Collaborate effectively with our global R&D team, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement. Qualifications for the role 61 Master’s degree or above in Electrical, Electronic, or Automation Engineering, or a related field. 61 Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in R&D within the domain of protection relays or power system automation products. 61 In-depth understanding of electric power system analysis, protection principles, and the functionality and application of protection and control relays. 61 Proficiency in programming with the C language. 61 Proficiency in MATLAB language programming, with the ability to model and simulate complex systems. 61 Knowledge and experience in developing of real-time embedded systems. 61 Prior experience in the development of protection relays is highly advantageous. 61 Knowledge of relay standards, particularly IEC61850, is a desirable asset. 61 Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to driving projects forward. 61 A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a passion for staying abreast of new technologies and industry trends. 61 Fluency in both oral and written English is essential for effective communication within our global team. 61 Proactive, self-disciplined and self-motivated.
