The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for the acquisition and development of new (Chinese & international) accounts in accordance with the country and project business plan as agreed with the country resp. line management.
1.Your tasks and responsibilities:
-Achieve growth and hit the company sales targets by expanding customers portfolio -Identifying emerging markets, market shifts -Tackling target prospects/clients with regular sales activity reports -Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships -Writing up offers and proposals to clients -Present sales and profitability reports and realistic forecasts to the management -Administration and support in daily business activities in a global business environment -Supporting management (local and regional) in reporting, etc.
2.Qualifications:
-Know-how in freight forwarding; experience in ocean freight, incl. breakbulk, is an advantage -A minimum of 3 years of work experience in OOG and breakbulk, in comparable position within a Project freight forwarder -Proven track record of successfully Business developments and sales achievements -Familiarization with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint -Good organizational skills, customer-focused with attention to detail -Excellent communications skills (cross-functional and cross-cultural) -Fluent English skills, both written and verbal
