The Financial Controller will be responsible for leading the accounting, tax & compliance team and effectively managing cross-functional interactions with the various departmental organizations/ related parties domestically and globally. This person will also create and implement policies and procedures to identify, resolve and document accounting issues in addition to creating procedures to make the close and reporting processes more efficient and accurate.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Lead the Accounting staff and the company through annual audits;
- Manage the domestic tax function;
- Take responsibility of compliance – accounting policy set-up and internal control set-up for listing preparation;
- Responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements; Ensure compliance with PRC/HKFRS GAAP and tax standards, as well as proper internal controls; Coordinate with and supervise external firm on US GAAP conversion;
- Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures based on current and changing standards, regulations and laws;
- Continuously improving the accounting functions including team development, resource allocation, and cross-functional cost-savings opportunities

- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance;
- Minimum 3 years working experience in big 4 and over 6 years manager roll experience;
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
- CPA or international equivalent preferred;
- Demonstrated understanding of foreign currency markets and related accounting impacts preferred;
- Pharma industry background preferred;
- Ability to identify, analyze and improve complex business processes by applying accounting expertise and business acumen;
- Skilled at leading Accounting staff to achieve departmental and company-wide plans and objectives;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, demonstrating the ability to clearly convey complex business processes and terminology to a multi-cultural audience.
