Government Affairs function is responsible to work with government to influence future public health policy, and to be responsible of for state legislative, regulatory, and public policy matters. Key deliverables include, developing and implementing legislative strategies, monitoring legislation and coordinating state association management, key contacts programs, training and compliance. Overseeing corporate initiatives and working with local government affairs to coordinate community affairs activities.
Let’s talk about the role: 61 Implementation of China government affairs strategy that is aligned with Impact priorities and China business demand, including but not limited to promote awareness, key policy catch-up & analysis, promote policy evolution, etc.; 61 Support important projects/initiatives initiated by government affairs or involving public sector; 61 Support to build up the diversified channels that help to deliver key messages to policy makers for positive impact on regulations or policies; 61 Support to RMD/Curative operation through network maintenance, engagement with government officials and resources leveraging. 61 Drive development and implementation of corporate policy through strategic partnerships with government and industry groups aligning with business objectives. 61 Serves as company liaison to and fosters relationships with key members of government and industry groups to promote company interests. 61 Prepares policy briefings, testimony for pending legislative actions and provides thought leadership and recommendations. 61 Ensures appropriate company participation in government forums and industry group meetings. 61 Works with policymakers, leaders of government and industry councils and lobbyists to influence public policy, monitor government initiatives and advocate for specific plans to advance the company’s objectives. 61 Performs work in a specialized area of expertise that requires knowledge of fundamental themes, principles and concepts. Typically requires a university degree or equivalent work experience. 61 Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
