Job Summary Works along with Assistant Technical Manager, supervises all technical & show operation aspects of assigned entertainment venue or events ensuring show quality and a positive Guest & Team Members experience.
Major Responsibilities Responsible for the plan execution and quality assurance of all technical and show operations of the assigned entertainment venues in safety manner, directly coordinating and supporting TMs from administrative perspective, including daily scheduling and daily operation plan. Support the technical operation for allocated shows and events base on production and operation needs. Work along with Assistant Manager for the supervision and evaluation of all technicians within the assigned venue (s). This includes but is not limited to upkeep with the facility & show equipment in good shape, support TMs in improve Technical & Show operation skills, Lead & Support TMs by following UBR guiding principal, establish communication channel and review TMs' feedback on regular basis to increase TSAT %. Support Assistant Manager in creating Technical & Show Operation budget control plan, procurement plan and monitor execution, supervise & monitor inventory process. Responsible for creating OJT program, monitor & support training execution, update and follow the OJT plan as required. Responsible to updating technical & Show operation documents in time, ensuring all work is done according to established UBR standards and quality requirement. Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UBR policy, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. Performs other managing duties as assigned.
Qualifications 7-10 years working experience in Entertainment industry, Exhibition, Theater or Theme Park, over 5 years major entertainment project operation or production experience. Knowledge of industry information and standards. Knowledge of entertainment project and live event operation or production procedure, e.g., build teams, production management, project planning, project budgeting, normalization rules paperwork. Strong Written & Oral Communication skills and Leading & Motivating teams. Able to communicate in English for basic work-related conversations. Technical Entertainment Discipline Knowledge is required (Rigging, Staging, Scenic, Lighting, Video, automation, audio, Pyrotechnics, SFX, Show Control, water effect, Chassis engineering, Document control/EHS). A great knowledge of show system integration and show design. Has the ability to provide necessary solution for the team. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Must be able to relocate to Beijing. Knowledge of Universal preferred technical theater software and show control systems like RSS, Medialon, Alcorn Mcbride, Navigator, MA, Digico, Tri Caster、Qsys Designer & Qlab.
Education College diploma is required. Diploma from a college or university degree in Technical Theater preferred.
