The Asia Pacific region has a key role in Ae****’s growth plans. Position Overview:
As the Engineering Project Manager, you will have a pivotal role in leading the coordination of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) companies, technology licensors, equipment manufacturers, catalyst providers, project stakeholders, governments, and related authorities in China. This role will work closely with Ae****’s Engineering Team in Asia and report directly to the VP, Engineering Asia. The ideal candidate will be based in China.
This person will be responsible for setting up and managing a database of engineering resources, communicating with EPCs regularly, managing contract issues during execution, and building relationships with governments and local authorities. He/she must be willing to travel as needed throughout the region and internationally as required This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable fuels in the Asia Pacific region in collaboration with a highly qualified and experienced engineering team.
Responsibilities: 1. Participate in agreement negotiations with EPCs, Technology licensors, equipment manufacturers, catalyst providers, and project partners. 2. Arrange and attend meetings based on the related items of the agreements; manage meetings notes and action items agreed to among team members; monitor the executing status of the all project action items. 3. Manage to the schedules based on the related items of the agreements; develop schedule-control reports regularly; provide early warning of delay to relevant parties; suggest potential measures to catch up on the schedule 4. Monitor and report out the execution status of project(s) in China 5. Actively interact with governments, authorities, EPCs, licensors, and vendors.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics/business or other related degrees 2. 5-8+ years of experience in engineering, engineering project management engineering program management or equivalent 3. Capability and proven track record of coordinating complex interactions with multiple internal and external stakeholders and meeting objectives within timelines 4. Experience in alternative fuels, refining, petrochemicals, and/or gas processing Industry especially in sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), biofuels, clean hydrogen, renewable power is highly preferred 5. Experience in negotiating and executing EPC agreements highly desirable 6. Familiarity with EPC resources in China 7. Experience setting up database and project plans to manage engineering resources 8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of experts across the globe 9. Fluent in English and Mandarin

Location: Remote / Beijing preferable location (10%~15% travel inside China and China to Vietnam)
Annual Salary: 1. 400k-500k (pre-tax), finalized by both parties upon completion of the interview process. 2. On-target Annual Bonus: 0%~100%
