Key Responsibilities: 61 Develop public relations strategy in support of regional and company strategic goals, operating with a high degree of autonomy while aligning with global communications strategy 61 Deeply understand company and regional business plan, strategic goals, and key audience groups 61 Influences strategic decisions through advocacy of business and stakeholder interests 61 Manage media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, social and other media professionals including influencers. 61 Plan, execute, and measure the success of PR activities including but not limited to earned media campaigns, social media, media tours at Cook sites, and community outreach programs, etc. 61 Oversee the creation and distribution of material to support strategic PR work. 61 Support regional social media strategy, produce local content for region specific social media channels (WeChat) and actively contribute to global social media platforms. 61 Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and social media, to ensure consistent messaging and branding. 61 Coaches, reviews and delegates work to professionals in lower-level jobs 61 Manage crisis communication and the organization's response to negative publicity in alignment with global communications leaders. 61 May act as an on-the-record spokesperson, and supports executives and other leaders as spokespeople of Cook Medical through media visibility, interview and presentation coaching, preparation, etc. 61 Supports internal communication needs for employees based in Chinese Mainland. 61 Ensure that the company’s mission, values, and culture are integrated into earned and social media.
Qualifications: 61 Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 61 5-7 years of experience in public relations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. 61 Strong understanding of media relations, PR and social media strategies. 61 Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin. 61 Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 61 Strong organizational and project management skills. 61 Proficiency in using PR and media monitoring tools. 61 Experience in crisis management and handling negative publicity. Preferred Qualifications: 61 Master's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. 61 Experience working in a regulated industry 61 Knowledge of social media platforms and digital PR strategies. 61 Strong network of media contacts within the region.
