KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
61 Work closely with different translation agencies to deliver translation and localization for multiple launch projects
61 Obtain source files from requesters and/or Curriculum Development team, analyze files and source content for localizability, and flag any risk
61 Prepare for a hand off package and send to vendor
61 Track and monitor project statuses, and manage queries from vendors
61 Feed any source related issues back to Curriculum Development
61 Verify Hand back from vendor
61 Manage escalation
61 Track and report performance metrics
61 Consolidate QA metrics
61 Assist with operational tasks, e.g. data entries and sorting.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
61 3+ years of experience in localization
61 BA/BS or 2+ years equivalent work experience in localization, internationalization, project management, or program management
61 Thorough understanding of translation technologies: translation memories, translation management systems, machine translation, etc.
61 Familiar with Content Management Systems
61 Communication skills, experience to work effectively across time zones and cultures
61 Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills in English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
61 Knowledge of additional languages other than English
61 Familiarity with Amazon Localization Environment and Tools
61 Experience working with a global team
61 Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and able to manage multiple priorities well
61 Self-driven and ability to be both strategic and execution
