- In this role, you will act as the center of expertise for the Sustainable Supply Base Management (SSBM) program in China and support the Global ABB Supply Chain Sustainability Manager in managing, developing and implementing SSBM in ABB in general and for Robotics & Discrete Automation (RA) business area specific. - You will apply your knowledge in Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) management, as well as corporate responsibility, labor rights and relevant legal frameworks and international standards to support, coach and train the organization in implementing and executing the SSBM program. In addition, you will support development of sustainability performance of local suppliers and conduct supplier awareness trainings. - This role is part of the global SCM Sustainability Team within ABB, which has team members located in multiple countries - - - Main Accountabilities - Center of expertise for SSBM in China - 61 Act as central point of expertise for the implementation of SSBM in China - 61 Support / coach / train internal and external assessors on latest developments in legislation, auditing protocol and ABB expectations - 61 Support / coach / train local Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization to develop and maintain awareness of SSBM and support implementing SSBM in the supply base - 61 Support development of local suppliers so they can fulfill ABB’s sustainability requirements - 61 Conduct supplier awareness training - - Support global SSBM program - 61 Support /coach / train division SSBM representatives on latest developments in legislation, auditing protocol and ABB expectations and share best practices and improvements - 61 Lead / coordinate keeping assessment checklists in line with changing sustainability standards, regulations, and guidelines - 61 Lead / coordinate further development of assessment checklists to cover more high-risk procurement categories - 61 Contract and manage 3rd party auditing agencies - 61 Create quarterly KPI reporting for global SSBM program - 61 Act as super user for the SSBM software tool and execute user management - 61 Support further development of program in line with existing and upcoming Human Rights and Supply Chain Due Diligence legislation - 61 Support development of internal and external training programs - - Coordination of execution of global SSBM program within RA - 61 Coordinate supplier nominations within RA - 61 Coordinate assessor assignment to assessments and make sure the planned assessments are completed by the assigned assessors - 61 Follow up on status of assessments and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and make sure CAP closure rate meets KPI requirement - 61 Review final assessment report and CAP reports -
- 61 University degree with a focus on SCM, sustainability, HSE or similar - 61 5+ years of working experience in supplier development and/or supplier auditing Working experience in China - 61 Good knowledge of HSE, Corporate Responsibility and labor rights - 61 Good knowledge of Supply Chain Management - 61 Good knowledge of Chinese legislation and understanding of international legislation - 61 Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese - 61 Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, to various audiences - 61 Good networker - 61 Excellent skills in project management and execution, proven ability to drive change and implementation in a decentralized organization - 61 Self-motivated and organized. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work both independently and in a team - 61 Capable of acquiring and applying legal, technical and regulatory information - 61 Ability to use IS tools: Excel, PowerBI, etc. - 61 Good auditing skills is preferred - 61 Preferred experience in Supply Chain Management and/or supplier quality - 61 Preferred experience in working in a global environment
