In this role you’ll make an impact by:
-Plan, perform and optimize molecular biology experiments, including DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, sequencing, genetic cloning and expression, and bench-scale fermentations with guidance from scientists.
-Use digital tools to analyze and interpret experimental data, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
-Develop and implement new methods, equipment, and competencies to solve technical problems and improve efficiency.
-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research projects.
-Present research findings at internal meetings and contribute to project reports and documentations.
-Stay current with the latest advancements in molecular biology and related fields.
To succeed you must hold:
-Bachelor or M.Sc. in Molecular Biology, Biochemical Engineering, or a related field.
-Minimum of 3 years of relevant laboratory experience in biological research. Proficiency in molecular biology techniques and experimental design. Hands on experiences with small-scale cultivation and fermentation is preferred.
-Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality research.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to utilize digitalization tools for analyzing and visualizing experimental results is a plus.
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to document and present results in English.
