Job Description: Responsible for managing the import process of pharmaceutical finished products, ensuring compliance with national regulations and company policies, facilitating the smooth entry of products into the market, and maintaining product quality.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the import process, including documentation management, customs clearance, customs coordination, and handling of emergency and exceptional events. Ensure all import documents are complete and timely complete the area declaration after the goods arrival. Track the status of imported goods and keep relevant colleagues updated to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Analyze data to identify root causes of issues and develop improvement plans to enhance work efficiency. Maintain smooth communication with internal and external customers. Update the arrival calendar and optimize arrival arrangements to avoid customs and logistics issues due to timing. Coordinate with importers for normal and new business arrival arrangements, ensuring compliance with local government requirements.
Responsible for the management of the drug traceability system and the maintenance of related agreements, ensuring the compliance and traceability of pharmaceuticals.
Responsible for the quality maintenance of goods in the SAP system, ensuring product safety during storage. Supervise third-party personnel in executing maintenance plans and promptly verify issues and report to the quality department when necessary. Regularly review maintenance results and warehouse temperature and humidity conditions to ensure compliance with standards, while periodically summarizing and analyzing maintenance information to provide a basis for decision-making.
Review operational performance with carriers and the quality department, and conduct monthly KPI reviews with importers to ensure the achievement of business objectives and continuous improvement.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry or related fields. More than 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical importation or related fields, with experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies preferred. Familiarity with Chinese pharmaceutical import regulations and customs policies. Excellent communication skills and a spirit of teamwork. Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in office software. Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
