- Job Summary:
- In this role you are accountable for MV Drives product testing (from concept to implementation) with aim to assure superior product quality and zero escapes of issues to the field. You need to understand the product features and intended operation conditions and make concept of test system(s) that will assure capturing of all possible issues at an early stage. In cooperation with product experts, you will set up and manage projects to design and implement test systems in different production locations. One part of your role is the testing software product owner, actively managing backlog of requirements upon test system, planning and delivering test software releases. Further very important focus of this role is the testing data collection, processing and active use for production process monitoring and finally SPC.

- Key Responsibilities:
- ●Define and maintain the product testing concept. Define when and how to test different components, subsystems and full product in order to minimize probability of issues leaking out of the factory, while keeping the testing process efficient.
- ●Involve product experts (R&D, PE&Q) and Production testing engineers to define suitable test systems (hardware and software) needed to fulfill the testing concept and set measurable product quality targets. Plan, initiate, and manage projects to design and implement test systems across multiple production locations, ensuring alignment with global product KPIs. Develop a unified test system architecture (encompassing hardware, software, parameterization, and data collection) for consistent application across production sites while maintaining a standardized maintenance structure.
- ●Act as the software product owner for the testing software (test sequence automation). Collect the new requirements for testing SW which arise as new features are added to the product or improvements are made. Prioritize the backlog of requirements and plan test SW releases. Cooperate with product SW and HW responsible roles to synchronize releases of the test SW with releases of product new features. Ensure proper documentation of all testing procedures, and system configurations.
- ●Manage the resources who are implementing and testing the new test SW to deliver timely releases of the testing SW. If needed, join the testing SW implementation work and release testing. Monitor product testers’ operation and identify possible issues; analyze problems and implement fixes and improvements when applicable.
- ●Verify and validate the tester hardware and software to ensure that the measurement process implementation and data collection is suitable and accurate for the specific application.
- ●Monitor the product testing performance by utilizing the test data collected in DQC. Identify issues and unexpected trends. Analyze if the issue is coming from a tester or the product and resolve issues in cooperation with product experts, Implement SPC based on DQC data


- Requirements:
- ●Drives testing experience or SW development experience
- ●Design experience with electrical drives (frequency converters) or similar electrical systems. Background in R&D, PE&Q, Application engineering or similar.
- ●SW development skills
- ●Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must
- ●Project management skills are a plus
