1. To gather information on assigned clients, contact them to understand their requirements and work on a sales plan. 2. Promote the companies products, services and presences, expand the client base and obtain orders on behalf of the company. 3. To gain an understanding of the business community locally and begin to identify both opportunities in national and local sectors. 4. To win business against a sales and margin target for all Herman Miller products within the identified sectors. 5. Involve specialist sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities. 6. Provide accurate forecasting information for total volume sales by product group and detailed information on specific large projects. 7. Maintain good working relationships with local dealer personnel maintaining competence and commitment to Herman Miller products. 8. Provide field training for dealer sales personnel in product and positional skills. 9. Identify the key Architect and Interior design firms for company to have overview of the business potential in design territory and further build the long-term relationship with key influencers. 10. Strategize the regional A+D firms approach to support China overall success in growth and have accurate forecast of spec value. 11. Organize promotional activities with the Architect and Interior design firms to strengthen the brands awareness in timely basis. 12. Support the key opportunities wins locally or cross- region through specifying our products spec by working with designers.
Education and experience:
1. Degree in Civil Engineering/Designing or a related field is preferred. 2. Essential to own successful industry-related experience of at least 3 years. 3. Experienced in large and complex projects management is preferred. 4. Essential to own professional quality certifications is preferred. 5. Proficiency in English both verbally and in written form would be a plus.
