Job Description Summary: Developing innovative process designs with Manufacturing Engineering teams in manufacturing sites to drive the site manufacturing capability improvement. Developing some key technical platforms for site automation and digital capability growth. Evaluating and integrating advanced manufacturing technologies such as automation, robotics, and additive manufacturing. Collaborating with IT and engineering teams to implement Industry 4.0 solutions, including IoT and data analytics. Engaging in site automation and digital solution development for some new product introduction and process development, support the concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support. Managing technical projects from conception through implementation, ensuring on-time delivery and within budget. Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. Supporting LEAN manufacturing implementation. Support Transfer in project’s execution.
Required Qualifications This role requires advanced experience in the Automation and Digital technical design and project delivery. 1. Bachelor or above in Automation/Electrical/software Engineering or equivalent. 2. 7+ years’ experience in production Automation and Digital Engineering design. 3. Expertise in electrical automation device, such as MCU, PLC, Motor, Sensor, etc. 4. Experience with program coding, such as C, C++, Java, etc. 5. Good sensor/experience with digital transformation, such as database, IOT, etc. 6. Knowledge on data, Modeling and AI.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. Strong experiment design and analysis experience and capability. 2. Excellent data statistics and analysis experience and capability. 3. Problem solving oriented skills. 4. Design for reliability and design for manufacturing experience. 5. Experiences with process/machine development and manufacturing. 6. 6 sigma GB or above. 7. Broad knowledge in process engineering, such as electrical, mechanical, material, etc. 8. Demonstrated program/project planning capability. 9. Demonstrated project leadership and influencing skills. 10. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
