Job summary 1. This role is responsible for developing and executing policy positions and govt affairs programs, aimed at ensuring a favorable business environment for our business operation in China. 2. This role requires a deep understanding of the external political environment and potential policy developments related to alcohol and beverage industry.
Job responsibility 1. Monitor and analyze political and legislative development related to beer and beverage industry, like the consumption, excise, food safety and quality, market supervision etc. to provide insights to our operation in China. 2. Facilitate the policy advocacy projects related to alcohol and beverage industry via the deep collaboration with related think tanks, trade associations etc. 3. Executive the engagements with the central authorities, like MOFCOM, SAMR, MIIT, GACC etc. to maintain the strong connections with these key stakeholders. 4. Support to the high-level engagements for the business leaders with senior officials in the central authorities. 5. Proactively engage with internal stakeholders like legal, communication and commercial and supplying chain etc. to gain deep understanding on the business needs and explore the synergies for the seamless collaboration.
Job Requirement 1. Bachelor Degree or above in public policy, finance, law etc. 2. 5-8 years working experience of government affairs in MNCs. Working experience in the government or public service sector is a plus. 3. Good knowledge of Chinese government/political system and good understanding of China alcohol industry is a plus. 4. Good communication skills both written and verbal in Chinese and English. Strong policy analysis background is a plus. 5. A self-motivator, result-driven, positive and enthusiastic attitude. 6. Strong learning agility and business acumen, dealing with the ambiguities.
