Report to: Vice President Sales (Management) Department: Sales & Servicing department Responsibilities: The role of "Technical Service Engineer" has the following main elements: 1. Provide technical support and assistance to the company’s Key Account Managers during marketing visits to the customer’s site. 2. Prepare technical documentation according to requirements of Marketing Dept (Purchasing/Project). 3. Support the tendering team for the offer proposal and technical clarification. 4. Analyse and solve the technical problems encountered and propose solutions to meet the client specifications. 5. Carry out the Installation and Commissioning of equipment at customer sites. 6. Carry out activities at customer sites to inspect, report and where necessary exchange equipment for problem solving specific customer issues. 7. Participate in internal and external knowledge sharing with other members of the Group. 8. Offering design support in relation to the development and improvement of company equipment designs/drawings. 9. Explain and clarify information to enable proper interpretation and evaluation of specifications, drawings and other technical data. 10. Negotiate technical and commercial issues. 11. Initiate recommendations for new designs, new processes, or design changes to meet requirements. 12. Taking initiative to constantly improve procedures and technical solutions. 13. Liaison between Customer / Supplier / other related Entities on Technical Aspects of the Installation and Commissioning of Equipment. 14. Other tasks assigned by the line manager.
