Key Responsibilities 61 Work closely with medicinal chemistry, structural biology, and DMPK teams and help select and advance screening hits. 61 Characterize and profile small molecules with biological activities. 61 Initiate, facilitate, and organize domestic and international collaborations with academic and industrial partners. 61 Take a leadership role for data analysis and nominate novel strategies. 61 Generate written reports and oral presentations for monthly and quarterly meetings and annual reports. 61 Present findings at international meetings and publish in scientific journals.
Minimum Requirements 61 Have a Ph.D. in microbiology, molecular/cell biology, parasitology, chemical biology. 61 Have a broad understanding and curiosity of cutting-edge technologies and challenges in anti-microbial drug discovery. 61 Have basic oral and written English communication skills. 61 Be capable of working in an interactive and multidisciplinary team environment while conducting self-directed research within broader goals set by the group. 61 Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with an international network of laboratories and disease experts. 61 Be meticulous in maintaining lab notebooks and data filing. 61 Those with in-depth knowledge in genomics, genome editing, chemical biology, systems biology, biomarker discovery, or in vivo animal model studies will be preferred. 61 Hands-on experiences in vitro cell culture, microscopy, SPR, TSA, ELISA.
