To maximize revenue and profitability from key accounts (existing and new) and protect the existing customer base against competition.
Responsibility
1. Develop and maintain strong customer relations with Lexmark Corporate customers in the designated business areas to ensure the successful meeting of identified sales quotas. 2. Realize business opportunities through assessing customer requirements, consulting with them on company offerings and managing their needs and expectations. 3. Co-ordinate the provision of product training for customers 4. Seek to participate in customers’ strategic business/information technology planning process. 5. Contribute to the company sales planning process by providing accurate forecast volumes. 6. Co-ordinate, conduct and participate in sales promotions, campaigns, displays and demand generation programs. 7. Monitor competitor activity and report on significant events. 8. Manage the issue and retrieval of demonstration stock.
Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of company products and associated printer technologies.
Sound knowledge of all associated computer technologies including networking.
Excellent knowledge of competitive products.
Excellent knowledge of the IT industry.
Understanding of printer product applications in business.
Understanding of Sales principles and the Sales cycle.
Computer literacy skills.
Experience
Significant experience (3- 8 years) in computer sales or software and peripheral sales in the Corporate arena.
Qualifications
Ideally Tertiary qualifications in a business or IT related field.
