Responsible for e-Motor design for PHEV/BEV, including but not limited for: 1. Lead Design and development of E-Motor for local and international projects. 2. Lead RFQ and supplier technical assessment for local and international projects. 3. Lead supplier Management during development phase, to meet project requests: evaluation, evaluate simulation, lead the design freeze with supplier, define and pilot validations, supplier management and assessment until the final product/process acceptance 4. Ensure the quality of deliverables required by project in terms of quality, cost, timing, performance and guarantee the respect of technical core skills policy. 5. China referential + benchmark: follow new orientation + technology on e-Motor. Major Responsibilities: 1. Lead design the motor body, organize BOM, and draw 2D/3D engineering drawings for the motor 2. Lead and coordinate the design group from all related departments for E-Motor design, synthesis and report for conception choice, evaluate key component choice in the system, lead design freeze with supplier 3. Lead and coordinate the development of worldwide project and communicate with worldwide teams 4. Report to powertrain project/ platform project/ vehicle project 5. Responsible for writing technical specifications which are conform with project request/need, internal design rules, standards and regulations and supplier technical assessments 6. Assessment of supplier design and key components design choice 7. Evaluate simulation results including mechanical, thermal, electromagnetic and performances 8. Coordinate and evaluation of control strategy and function safety of E Motor 9. Define and Control of supplier validation plan, participate and realize the test at supplier site and internal test, contribute to show the test compliance 10. Product release/ officialization 11. Supplier management and assessment until the final product/process acceptance 12. Responsible for solving eMotor related technical problems from component level to sub-system level until vehicle level, quality control, supplier management, manufacturing and other aspects, summarize as lessons learnt 13. E-Motor ECOTECH and optimization 14. Familiar with e-Motor technical trend and roadmap, support and work with Advanced Research and Engineering Department for technical trend and future technical solution study for E-Motor 15. Other tasks assigned by managers +projects Qualifications: Education: Bachelor/Master Work Experience: 3-5 years Technical Skills: 1. Bachelor, Master or above degree in Electrical and Power Electronics Engineering or vehicle engineering is preferred 2. Familiar with machining, sheet metal, casting, welding, stamping, surface treatment and other related processes 3. Familiar with the structure, materials, and technology of motors, able to independently design the structure of the motor body 4. Master the basic theory of motors, familiar with structures and processes, and understand the principles of drive control 5. Proficient in at least one professional electromagnetic simulation software, able to use electromagnetic software to analyze motor performance 6. Familiar with testing methods related to motor performance, reliability, and stability 7. Knowledge in control, mechanical, thermal, EMC, SW, function and function safety 8. Knowledge of EDM simulation tools 9. Professional experience in Automotive filed is a plus 10.
