Main Responsibilities: The position is based in Changshu R&D Center, and provide great support to BUs for their business. The position is in charge of application support & technical support for specialty fluoropolymers products. The job holder also should be in charge of the lab management, CAPEX & OPEX follow up/budget setting, and participate in CSR project. 1) Product: specialty fluoropolymers 2) Market: battery, water membrane and coating 3) Interaction: RD team, experts in Japan, US and France, sales & business development team, customers 1. Safety: -Familiar with the risk of experiments and relevant chemicals’ MSDS -To report substandard conditions and behavior in safety and OH field. Be active in safety activities and safety inspections, to find and report hidden risks timely, to raise suggestions on HSEQ performance improvement such as safety production, energy saving, environmental protection etc. -Be familiar with the safety production rules and SOPs within my position. Be in charge of safety operation skills, be active in participant kind of safety activities including educations and trainings, safety meeting, safe start etc. -To protect and use all kinds of safety equipment. To correctly wear and use PPEs correctly. -Be authorized to criticize, report and accuse the problems existing in safety work, and have the right to refuse illegal command and force risky operation and dissuade or stop other people's unsafe operation behavior. In case of any unsafe or emergency situation, that directly endangers personal safety, stop the operation or evacuate the workplace after taking possible measures. -To understand the emergency treatment measures, to strengthen the ability on accident prevention and emergency response. be aware of his/her rights and duties in safety production. 2. Technical support for fluoropolymers related markets - Provide development support when required for fluoropolymers products, include new products - Answer technical questions from sales & business development team - Provide timely and concisely technical support (analysis, report) to customers through sales & business development team - Provide technical benchmarking of competitor products - Provide internal & external technical trainings (customer, partner, toller, etc.) - Provide support to marketing team (samples, technical information) 3. On-site technical assistance support at customers 4. Active and effective interaction and communication with global fluoropolymers R&D team Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 1. Education: Master degree or above in the field of polymer, polymer material or polymer physics 2. +2 years technical support experiences, preferably in battery, membrane, coating area 3. Good communication, problem solving skills, proactive, willingness to grow/learn 4. Environmental, Health, and Safety Awareness 5. Fluent in English/Mandarin, knowledge of French is a plus
