You will have team and technical leadership responsibilities. As part of a high performing team, you will deliver effective and fit for purpose solutions to our customers globally, whilst ensuring best practice is adhered to, including:

61 A precise and efficient interface between product and internal/external customer
61 A multi-functional role including product development project and product BOM management

You will need to be technically orientated, process minded, disciplined and proactive to ensure the delivery of all team activities in line with agreed deadlines.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Technical leadership for your specific domain of competence ensuring best practice is set and adhered to.
2. Day to day team management responsibility including setting objectives, task allocation and technical guidance.
3. BOM creation for new product as well as the BOM maintain for current product.
4. Design special options base on customized requirement.
5. Continuously optimize existed design by manufacture feasibility, cost saving and quality stability.
6. Analyse root cause of product failure in process of production assembly, testing and customer complain, provide correct actions to solve problem.
7. Timely follow up routine EC (Engineering Change) until it is implemented or finally closed.
8. Closely cooperate with project team and provide technical support.
9. Concession analysis for incoming components that are out of tolerance.
10. Manage documents related to product such as sales brochure and installation & maintenance operation manual.
11. Apply & Update product Certificate if necessary
12. Provide support to customer or sales service regarding to product data/performance and application inquiries.


Qualification and skills:

1． Ability to be able to effectively manage, mentor and coach the team.
2． Track record of being able to influence technical professionals and projects.
3． At least Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering field, product design or equivalent experience. 7+ years industry related experiences, Valve field is preferred. Familiar with 3D design software, Solid Edge is plus.
4． Proven experience of analysing, testing, debugging, and enhancing existing products used in an industrial environment.
5． Experiences of working with purchase, quality and production will be a plus.
6． Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7． Clear and effective communication skills. Adaptable and able to cope with the unexpected, manage issues effectively.
8． Able to balance the short-term focus on results with longer-term interests.
