Assignments:
1.Develop and visit existing suppliers important to local unit but also for Group; identify and introduce new suppliers where required or transfer existing suppliers to other Group locations.
2.Lead negotiations with local and Group suppliers and implement material group strategies.
3.Liaise and align with local material group responsible and other functions, e.g. in case of cross-functional savings efforts.
4.Support the Group Lead buyer to develop material group strategies with focus on Chinese suppliers.
Your profile:
1.Few years of experience as a Global Lead Buyer or Strategic Purchaser in the industrial business environment, in best case in transformer industry.
2.Extraordinary skills in:
o analytics and negotiations,
o project and process management,
o self-organization, -structuring and -prioritization,
o assertiveness combined with capacity in teamwork,
o communication to internal and external stakeholders.
3. Business fluent English as well as experienced with Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
