Responsibility: -Place and adjust PO to internal & external suppliers based on ERP and special notification from planning or customer care teams -Track order acknowledgment and take effort to mitigate supply gap on both trading parts and raw materials through multiple channels and methods -Monitor sales forecast fluctuations and lead improvements on demand accuracy -Maintain internal purchasing prices and keep effective communication with manufacturing site for timely price updates -Reduce material inventory index under the premise of guaranteeing the materials required for production -Return defective products to suppliers -Monitor inbound shipment and control logistic cost -Achieve stakeholder satisfactory. Collect market insight on regular basis related to series purchasing. Organise regular meetings to identify risks and develop contingency actions with related parties -Establish standard logic and methodology for key supply index such as safety stock, escalation events, air freight approval etc., and standardise workflow -Responsible for data analysis reports, provide feedback to leadership and contribute to other global procurement cascaded objectives and initiatives -Continued improvement on current value stream, co-work on digital tool development Qualification: -Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, international trade, electrical engineering or other relevant major -Minimum 5 years of purchasing or supply chain experience, preferably automotive industry with own design and production lines -Fluent in both written and oral English and Chinese, German is plus -Strong problem shooting capability and be good at effective communication,logical and results orientated -Excellent data analysis skills, Excel and Power BI etc. -Be familiar with ERP system e.g., Infor, SAP -Ownership and change management -Personal integrity and confidence
