Responsibilities: - Provide the effective leadership to the team.Ensure the team is properly trained to effectively achieve the performance goals. - Drive the monthly S&OP meetings to get alignment with sales & purchasing for coming demand and supply rate. - Monitor demand fluctuation rate by customer, then establish the customer behavior database. - Trace production line utilization and implement feedback system to demand planning function. - Work with demand planning function to implement demand and supply strategy. - Inventory control management. Responsible to implement and manage strong Inventory Management Systems in the plant. - Forecast weekly monitoring, Carry out ABC class analysis for all active parts, and review with planners - Ideal Planned Inventory to Actual Inventory Variance on weekly basis. Necessary corrective actions roll out and follow up on all items where in stocks various high. - Ensure Shortage Analysis is performed by Planning Team- Planners on routine timely manner, in order to ascertain control on material availability in Plant.Review Shortage Analysis and ensure PC&L feedbacks upcoming shortages to related functions for better transparency and team action.Review reasons of shortages with Planning Team for better corrective action. - Monitoring space utilization and stocks of these items with planners on regular basis. Implement Strong Inventory Management System in order to keep Optimum Inventory in Plant. - Review and Update Item Planning Parameters in QAD. All records of Item Planning parameters needs to be approved by Logistic Manager and operation manager before Updating in QAD. Upkeep the documentation related with Planning Parameters sheets. Ensure all Planners are trained on Planning Parameters definitions. - Review Analysis “ Aging of Raw Material“ on monthly basis with PC&L Manager and generate slow moving stock report on at least monthly basis. Ensure reasons of slow moving stock are recorded and brought to the notice of management. - Monitor Planning Teams Performance. Ensure strong communication with customer and suppliers. - Qualifications: - Must be a team player and able to build strong relationships internally and externally. - Must be able to multi-tasks and handle multiple priorities. - Good English skills with fluent conversational communication ability. - 5 years working experience in a multinational manufacturing company and minimum 2 years related to MPS planner. Good working knowledge of MRP, lean manufacturing is a plus. - Substantial experience in ERP operation for inventory control, experience in using MFG/PRO system will be an advantage. - Proven collaboration & empathetic leadership but must be result oriented. - Creative thinking, make improvement in own business areas. - Good problem solving and multi-tasked abilities. - Good analytical and planning skills. - Sound adjustment, excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills. - CPIM as plus.
