Duties & responsibilities 61 Bring new products into production using production launching tools and processes (i.e., PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Mistake – Proofing, Control Plan, Measurement System Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, DFM/DFA, etc.) 61 Increase throughput using Theory of Constraints Methodology; 61 Problem solving using 6-Sigma (DMAIC methodology) and other statistical techniques 61 Conduct and participate in designed experiments to support robust product and equipment design as well as problem solve. 61 Lead and participate in continuous improvement teams and incorporate best practices to eliminate waste 61 Help to establish a culture and business practices that support continuous improvement 61 Maintain and improve the Business Management System in alliance with the US and UK facilities 61 Perform internal quality audits, corrective actions, and management reviews for ISO 9001/14001 based system 61 Maintain standardized receiving inspection processes 61 Maintain records on returned products from all customers and initiate containment action with the relevant departments to prevent shipment of products that may have the same conditions as the returned product.
Qualifications & experience 61 Requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Manufacturing or Industrial Systems Engineering. 61 Experience with developing and/or maintaining an ISO 9001/14001 Quality management System 61 Experience in Lean methodologies, concepts, and principles 61 Experience with internal auditing 61 Experience in 6 Sigma tools preferred 61 Hands on knowledge of Minitab quality software. 61 Have a background in statistical based measuring and analytical methods such as ANOVA, regression analysis and statistical process controls. 61 Experience and knowledge in assembly, testing, and inspection processes 61 Knowledge of comparative methods, such as hypothesis testing, design of experiments and advanced statistical tools such as reliability and life testing, simulation; correlation, confidence intervals; data analysis and mining and categorical data analysis. 61 Knowledge and use of APQP, FMEA, Value Stream Mapping, Theory of constraints
