Position Summary: The Sr. FP&A Analyst will base in Changzhou, directly report to China FPA Manager, playing a critical role to support management planning and decision making by identifying, evaluating information, and then recommending actions. This role is accountable for manufacturing planning, reporting and analysis across all China manufacturing entities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Partnering - Regularly present financials back to all business stakeholders. - Collaborate with budget owners to provide analysis and action plan which can drive business performance. - Proactively develop advanced modeling and analytics to improve planning accuracy. - Communicate complex financial information in a clear manner to all business stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting - Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process by overseeing and producing P&L, B/S outlook for all functions. - Present and recommend key risks, opportunities, initiatives and actions to management.
Management Reporting - Primary point of contact for queries relating to periodic reports and cost control. - Manage periodic reporting process, ensuring that all reporting deliverables on timely and accurately tracking. - Lead periodic variance analysis for budget and forecast, report out significant variances, risks, and opportunities and present to management.
Continuous Improvement - Identify team, corporate, and business units issues and work with all business stakeholders to develop a solution. - Ensure processes and reports are set up to answer core business. - Research and explore opportunities for company business growth or expansion.
Other - Prepare procedure documentation for critical FP&A processes and deliverables. - Carry out tasks per requested to support Controller, Finance Managers and Finance teams.
Knowledge, Skills & Experiences - Excellent computer skills in spreadsheets, database (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) and ERP (SAP, Visual, Microsoft Navision). - Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) will be a plus. - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. - Excellent organizational and communication skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities. - Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as in a collaborative work environment.
Job Requirements: - Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related fields. - Minimum of 5 years multiple culture manufacturing company FP&A experience in Finance. - CPA, CIMA, ACCA, or MBA preferred. - Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English, ability to effectively engage with all business stakeholders.
