Job Description: 1.Localization program purchasing as key contact window of SCM to take full participate in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, closing stages of the localization program development once programs were kicked off by PM, coordinating SCM resources to get parts sourced and supplier nominated, to execute the localization program purchasing activities and keep key stakeholders updated regularly, provide robust support on localized purchasing part sourcing , change management( cost / design etc.), sample delivery, gate exit and other tasks at all phases of the programs. 2.As the localization program purchasing to lead the clarification of purchasing part engineering requirements and initiate RFQ package releasement, supplier quotation collection, commercial negotiation based on feasibility study / DFM results, lead sourcing committee to involve key stakeholders align on the supplier nomination, release supplier nomination letter, purchasing contract negotiation and signature, program purchasing should keep the whole supplier selection process and result transparency to related stakeholders. 3.Localization program purchasing will cooperate with SQE to track purchasing part APQP activities (APQP kick off, regular review of tooling / sample development progress, change management, PPAP preparation and release) during the purchasing execution phase, lead the program development stage of sample demand identification, PO release and sample delivery tracking activities such as FOT/DV/PV samples, R@R, PPAP, etc. to safeguard program demands until production safe launched. 4.As the localization program management role, except the purchasing activities the localization program purchasing needs monitor the localization program deliverables on each of program stages, identifying risks and addressing issues at earliest, analyzing the overall impacts on program implement, developing proper risk mitigation plan and problem-solving measures, assigning responsible person and following the action plans until risk eliminated, escalating the significant issues with action plans to high management before the influences are out of control. Host the program steering meeting to coordinate with both Germany and China cross functional teams including SCM counterpart / Design / QM / Sales / Product Management / PM etc. for on time delivery the program deliverables within both cost and timing target. 5.After the PPAP released or conditional released, program purchasing specialist hand over the purchasing part series capacity confirmation and series production delivery to production buyers while purchasing part commercial data and contract to strategic commodity team. 6.Supplier management for each of the programs. Supplier score card development after program exits stage as key output for future purchasing program business nomination reference. 7.Drafting and developing necessary program reports to management by weekly. 8.Other tasks assigned by line manager, e.g. PO / tool releasement, team administration paperwork and so on.
Qualifications: 1.Technical or business bachelor’s degree, technical master’s degree is a plus. 2.3-5 years of automotive industry purchasing experience is strongly required, 5+ years is preferred, rich auto commodity knowledge and understand cost structure for injection mold / stamping / connectors / cables / machinery/ Casting etc. parts. 3.5+ plus automotive program management working experience is required, full program lifecycle management experience is a must. 4.Proven capability of multi-task & multi-program handling as well as collaboration & project management skills. 5.Certificates CPSM / CIPS / CPPM / PMP or equivalent capabilities are required. 6.Team player, strong execution capability and result & process both oriented mindsets. 7.Good spoken and written English Skills, German is a plus. 8.Strictly comply with compliance, zero negative experience is a must.
