Purpose Leading the Raw Materials QC Analyst Team to make sure the raw materials are inspected according to the global & local approach, liaises with both internal and external stakeholders driving the resolution of issues and monitoring the approaches are consistently followed. Core Responsibilities -Leading the chemical, physical testing and sensory evaluations of incoming ingredients as identified by the current Givaudan specification for the item. -Leading sensory evaluations of ingredients. -Leading enter test results into SAP timely resulting in an acceptance or rejection. -Leading communicate rejections and information updates to key contacts in Quality, Operations, Purchasing, Planning and Customer Care as needed. Types of communications include e-mail, making notes in system and/or verbal. -Leading the RM QC Analyst team on the site vendor complaint handling and the CAPA verification in a timely manner, organize and report the data and in responsible for the escalation issues. -Liaise, lead and resolve technical issues with Vendors / Stakeholders. -Leading the clarification of the ingredients specification, methods etc. with the global quality team. -Leading the MOC process in raw materials perspective. -Support the QA team of the customer complaints investigation of ingredients; -Provide backup and support to team members as necessary. -Back up the QC coordinate on the instruments verification and calibration monitoring and arrangements, department KPI report etc. -Maintain work a hygienic and safe work environment. -Identify opportunity for improvements in QC and set proactive measure for trouble prevention. -Other tasks assigned by the QC Manager Academic Background -Vocational diploma (pre-university) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline. -Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science; Engineering or related discipline. -MSC is preferred. Professional Experience -Overall work experience of 5 to 6 years with 2 to 3 years in a similar position. Technical Skills -Laboratory and/or QC techniques required. -Operational experience and strong affinity on laboratory system, analytical equipment and instruments such as weighing balance, Densitometer, Refractometer, Moisture balances, Karl Fischer titrator, Sieve testing equipment, GC. - Knowledge on chemical substances, hazardous material and related local regulations. -Written and verbal English is required. -Good Sensory Evaluation experience preferred. -Green belt or equivalent problem solving certificated preferred. -Good communication and team work -Integrity, Honesty and Resilient. -Results driven. -Stakeholder management and team leadership (4-8 subordinates).
