JOB DESCPRITION Workshop Manager is responsible of the factory’s manufacturing, working safety and health, product quality, warehouse, and the production schedule. This includes setting work schedules, solve production problems, and assists Manufacturing manager for recruiting new employees to meet production goals. The WS. Mgr develops training schedules for new employees and evaluates the performance of workers. Work scheduling also includes placing employees in appropriate positions to increase productivity. WS. Mgr plays very important role in the company’s success, and (s)he reports to the Manufacturing Manager of the company. Responsibilities 61Lead and develop your production teams and processes 61Plan and control your teams’ schedules 61Training, supporting, and monitoring production workers 61Evaluating performance of workers 61Material and process preparation before the production starts 61Control production: working safety working environment production schedule production quality 61Providing feedback about the factory operations to the management 61Ensuring successful implementation of various management decisions 61Handling technical and administrative issues that arise 61Keeping updated on various technical advancements 61Overseeing the performance and efforts of quality control 61Assist the Manufacturing Manager in the recruitment and selection process for personnel 61Performing special tasks as directed by the management 61Other tasks assigned by superior 61Follow HSE related regulations and policies Requirements and skills 615+ or more years of proven working experience in multi culture company. 61At least 10+ years in production engineer / supervisory role within a factory in a production or manufacturing environment. 61Good knowledge of steel structure manufacturing, mechanical assembly, health and safety issues. Proficient to read and understand manufacturing drawings. 61Good knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment. 61Add value to the application if (s)he had knowledge of warehouse, electrical assembly and hydraulic assembly. 61Working proficiency in English, native in Mandarin Chinese 61Knowledge of MS Office and some ERP system. 61Open and positive attitude, capability to learn new knowledge and skills. Possess good communication skills, strong supervising skills and team leadership. Great attention to detail and a result driven approach. Strong interpersonal skills, hardworking and team working spirit. 61Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, steel manufacturing, production engineering or related field.
