Main responsibilities & tasks:
Technical evaluation of enquiries
Determine necessary requirements stated by customer and applicable regulatory and specifications.
Calculate price update
Open article in IFS.
Propose cable designs based on available production equipment, materials and processes.
Clarification of eventual deviations from expressed requirements.
Present proposal in applicable format such as cable design drawings and cost calculations.
Issue bill of materials and routing options with work guidelines.
Review and approve designs, drawings and work guidelines from other designers.
Review and revise existing designs when required to meet new customer requirements or improve productivity.
Handle prototype production and evaluation when cable design needs to be confirmed.
Order and follow up FAI （*** article inspection).
Order preparation including review of master structure and master routing.
Release of articles in IFS to planning.

Education and experience necessary:
BS or MS degree or equivalent degree in electro-mechanical engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
The Engineer requires application of knowledge from a specific field of engineering within clearly defined assignments.
Training and/or experience in production economics.
Good communication skills.
Fluent in English, both oral and writing.
