Overview: Has full responsibility of the Changzhou plant operations: Safety, security, personnel, assets, interaction within the plant. Lead and manage operation team to reach operational excellence. Strive to meet/exceed industry standards in terms of customer satisfaction, safety, and profitability. Build among her/his team a strong company culture in line with the Gates core values
Key Responsibilities: 1. Establish and maintain a safe & healthy working environment by: -Building EHS consciousness into the company culture -Eliminating all industrial risks -Compliance of legislations and SG Safety standards 2. Coordinate efficiently the plant operations to reach targets in terms of customer satisfaction and plant profitability. This shall be done by: -Fully integrate Quality systems into the manufacturing operations and implement & follow strictly manufacturing SOPs -Implement the process control in order to reduce scraps and wastes in the production process -Drive a low cost and highly efficient supply chain management -Promote at the plant level tools implementation such as: 5S, Kaizen, Lean, WCM 3. Ensure business continuity by: -Building a strong and stable operation team. Proper communications of missions, values and objectives, as well 'hands-on' support to subordinates is critical to drive all forces in the right direction -Minimizing turn-over and preparing succession plan. Recruiting, retaining, and training of talents. 4. Deploy business strategy preparations by: -Promoting the plant capabilities, innovation, and continuous improvement -Setting up new goals in terms of cost and service to support the company profitable growth -Being the strongest link with Channel, R&D, and Commercial teams to develop new products and businesses models -Responsible for annual budget and strategic plan preparation 5. Accomplish other tasks assigned by his/her manager.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s degree or above with technical discipline. 2. At least 5 years’ Experience of managing a factory with over than 500 employees. 3. Demonstrated leadership and managerial abilities. 4. Good facilitating & organizing skills. 5. Proactive and able to manage ambiguity effectively. 6. Can work under pressure. 7. Proficient in Chinese and English.
