Job Summary Emerson has an exciting role for you! We are looking for an Application Engineer / Senior Application Engineer to work with us. You will need to provide timely, accurate and quality sizing, quotation, application review, engineering solution to support sales team. You will support sales team, representatives, sales offices, Design Institution, and end user for pre- and post-sales. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Cooperate with the sales team to achieve the annual sales target, be familiar with the types of multi-product valves, and have a certain understanding of chemical/petrochemical/oil refining industry applications. - According to customer needs, provide optimized and competitive technical solutions and prices. - Communicate with foreign factories to confirm the technology selection and price. - Technical communication, clarification and negotiation with design institute or end user. - Receive regular training of valve products, master and master the technical characteristics and industry applications of related valve products. - Provide technical support to other departments of the company, assist to solve all the related technical support involved in the sorting process after the order is signed and delivered to the site. - Responsible for the preparation of technical bidding documents with sales, responsible for the preparation of outline drawings with relevant departments before transferring to SO. - Organize all technical documents and prices before transferring to SO as required and ensure the correctness of delivery to the executive team. - Track quote records/orders/hit rates to maintain accurate and complete records.

For This Role, You Will Need: - Bachelor’s degree, mechanical, automatic control, instrumentation or related major in science and engineering. - Technical service, machinery, pump valve, power equipment, chemical equipment, engineering design institute, engineering company and import trade related work experience is preferred. - Working experience in oil refining, petrochemical, coal chemical, chemical, oil and gas, electric power, metallurgy industry is preferred. - High sense of responsibility, teamwork spirit and quick learning ability. - Good communication skills in English and computer. - Good health, willing to travel if necessary. - Occupational Health and Safety Acumen. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: - Problem solving skills. - PC literate. - Ability to plan and organize. - English communication both writing and speaking.
