Molex is seeking a world class, self-directed FEA Engineer to perform FEA simulations for datacom interconnect products. This role requires design, optimization, and characterization of innovative high-speed interconnect products for datacom applications.

In this role you will have the opportunity to perform advanced FEA simulations, and evaluations on Molex products.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Discover and invent new techniques and methods in FEA simulations.

2. Lead the development of new products and direct the activities of multifunctional team(s) according to the priorities set by engineering management.

3. Recommend changes in designs or technical procedures.

4. Conduct and coordinate FEA simulations for high-speed interconnect systems.

5. Provide input, ideas, and suggestions to create effective structural design guidance and documentations.

6. Work in laboratory environment to validate design and correlate tests with simulations.

7. Publish technical papers and patents.

EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

1. B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Related Engineering Discipline.

2. 5+ years of Mechanical Engineering Experience.

3. 5+ years of ABAQUS FEA Simulation Software Experience.

4. Experienced in mechanical testing for validation of simulation purposes.
