Job Description: Golden Panda International Rowing Club is seeking enthusiastic and creative foreign instructors to join our team for a new weekend educational program designed for children. This program focuses on water sports such as rowing and kayaking, combining lessons on their history, culture, and spirit, with hands-on experiences in the sports themselves. In addition to water activities, the instructors will guide children to explore surrounding attractions, including camping areas and bookstores, creating an immersive English environment where children can improve their language skills and cultural understanding in a relaxed, fun setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons on water sports, including rowing and kayaking, explaining their history, cultural significance, and the spirit behind the activities.
Lead and supervise children during water sports activities, ensuring safety and enjoyment throughout.
Conduct activities in English, promoting an immersive English-speaking environment and encouraging children to interact and communicate.
Participate in additional activities such as camping trips and bookstore visits, enhancing the children's overall experience.
Provide personalized guidance and support to help children overcome challenges, boosting their confidence and enthusiasm.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English: Able to communicate clearly and interact effectively with children in English.
Passionate about education and water sports: Experience in teaching children or participating in water sports is a plus.
Teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL) are preferred.
Patient and enthusiastic: Able to engage children, inspire their curiosity, and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Team player: Comfortable working with other instructors and staff to plan and execute activities.
Work Schedule:
Weekends: Every Saturday and Sunday, with specific hours depending on the activity schedule.
Activity duration: Each session lasts approximately 3-4 hours, depending on the specific activity.
