Key Accountabilities: 61 Responsible for the underwriting within the scope of authority 61 Responsible for insurance business underwriting and risk data analysis 61 Be responsible for risk assessment and selection of the security and underwriting parts within the scope of authorization 61 Work under general guidelines, provide technical advice for the business personnel or customers about the underwriting issues 61 Be responsible for implementing the company's risk management policies and underwriting rules 61 Act as coach/mentor to less experienced team members, or coordinates tasks for team and check on work quality and progress 61 Make resource deployment recommendations to ensure work continuity and efficiency 61 Be flexible to follow HK calendar and take OT to maintain a smooth delivery 61 other work assigned by the superior. Minimum Skills Requirement to Hire 61 Bachelor’s degree or above, major in medical/nursing or insurance is preferred 61 Basic English reading and writing skills, obtained CET-4 English certificate or above 61 3+ years relevant working experience in insurance, LOMA 280&290 or other related certificates are preferred 61 Familiar with underwriting process and rules in life insurance business 61 Knowledgeable in basic Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel 61 Familiar with insurance theory knowledge and claims professional knowledge is preferred 61 Good understanding of how own and related teams coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve the objectives of underwriting area 61 Sound knowledge of medical science, technology and terminology and their impact on mortality. Sound knowledge of financial and other non-medical underwriting factors. Basic knowledge of product pricing.
