PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Use plastic flow analysis software, (Moldflow /Moldex3D or the like) to identify and resolve molding problems associated with connector products and, in general, to improve the ability to manufacture molded parts.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsible for building flow simulation models of connector products using solid molding software (CAD), Hypermesh and/or other FEA pre-processors.
2. Perform Flow, Pack, Cool and Warp analyses using Moldflow and Moldex3D software
3. Write project reports and present the results to both internal and external customers.
4. Utilize plastics and mold design experiences to evaluate Moldflow and/or Moldex3D simulation results and to propose product design and/or manufacturing alternatives.
5. Identify potential problems and suggest improvements at different PDP stages, from product concept design to product final detailed design, to mold design, mold debug and to qualification.
6. Interface with product and mold process engineers on a day-to-day basis and recommend/suggest any product or tooling changes required based on the analysis results
7. Attend mold tryouts and gather molding performance information and conduct predicted vs. actual correlational studies.
8. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

7. 参加模具试用，收集成型性能信息，并进行预测与实际相关研究。
8. 履行管理层指派的其他职责。

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
1. Bachelor or Master (preferred) degree in Mechanical or Polymer Engineering
2. Good understanding of plastics material behaviors and its properties
3. Hands on experience and sound knowledge of injection molding process and machine controls
4. 2 to 4 years’ experience in mold simulation software such as Moldflow, or Moldex3D,
5. 2 to 4 years’ experience in Finite Element Analysis and/or building mesh models using Pre-processors such as Hypermesh.
6. Good organizational, written, interpersonal and communication skills both in Chinese and English
