Job Responsibilities：
● Working closely with the Global Content Manager and China Supporter Engagement team, plan and capture photographic and video content of resident bears at Chengdu Bear Rescue Centre (CBRC) to demonstrate their daily activities, and the work of the teams responsible for their health, welfare and happiness.
● Edit and produce photos and videos as source material for a range of different publications, platforms and channels for the Global Comms team, and with the needs of the China SE team in mind to enable easy re-purposing and re-use of content.
● Take and edit photos of bears at CBRC for our Bear Guardian program.
● Working closely with our Global Content Manager, reduce and re-organise our media library to enable better content management and retrieval.
● Lead on sanctuary visits by international guests including visiting veterinarians, celebrities and major donors.
● Provide content support, such as taking photos and video, when needed for sanctuary visits arranged and managed by other teams
● Actively participate in weekly Global Comms Team meetings, sharing updates from CBRC and contributing ideas and content to the publication schedule.
● Contribute four hours per week to monitoring of our international social media communities, responding to comments and questions to enhance our online supporter stewardship.
● Work closely with the onsite team at CBRC comprising both Chinese and English speakers to keep up to date with events/reports and proactively provide materials to other departments.
● Perform other accomplishable tasks outlined and assigned by line managers.
Job Requirements：
● Skills / Abilities
1. Excellent photography skills.
2. Great video editing skills, and practical experience of working with a range of professional video editing software.
3. Good copywriting skills.
● Knowledge
1. Understanding of social media community management, with ability to craft helpful and engaging responses to social media comments.
2. Familiarity with daily bear husbandry and the facilities & furniture at bear houses.
3. Proficient computer-based knowledge (Microsoft Office software, Google drive, Airtable, etc).
● Experience
1. Extensive experience working with professional photography equipment and photo editing software.
2. Extensive experience capturing video content.
3. Experience writing engaging social media posts.
4. Great team worker with excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Confident and personable, able to engage with a wide range of people, including celebrities.
6. Experience with veterinary terminology and vocabulary.
7. Translation from Chinese to English or vice versa

1. Excellent written and spoken English
2. Chinese
● Education / Qualification
1. Bachelor degree or above.
2. Pass: English Majors-Band 8 test or equivalent certifications.
