Core Responsibilities: Conducts design tasks considering defined costs and deadlines Supports the value analysis and develops concepts for cost reductions Is responsible for the procurement of information from departments, customers and suppliers relevant for the design Establishes design variations as surface- and/or solid-models based on internal and external requirements and policies and accounts for the quality of 3D-models/drawings Provides illustrations/drawings according to internal and external requirements and policies and coordinates them with internal and external departments Is package responsible, conducts package checks and documents results Documents design revisions in form of CAD reports and is responsible for the CAD data structure in the PLM system considering project-relevant deadlines Supports the feasibility studies and participates D-FMEA reviews Inspects external design results (e.g. structure of data, model quality) Prepares design relevant specifications Supports the prototype build phases and considers the relevant experience for the optimization of the CAD model Conducts the exchange and transformation of CAD data Supports the development of design guidelines and technical standards On-site CAD support at customer location (if required)
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering or Mechanical Engineering 3 years CAD design work experience in Auto industry is required, Chassis products development experience is preferred Thorough knowledge of CAD tools utilized in automotive engineering CATIA V5 Be familiar with metal component manufactory process knowledge Good skill of GD&T Basic English communication skills
