Job Summary
1.Focused on complicated measurement devices to inspect and make fine measuring of geometrics, form and tolerance for direct and indirect raw material parts according to drawings specification and requirement, solve measuring problems independently
2.Do MSA & maintenance for key measurement MAE and purchase new MAE if necessary & train inspectors and do CIP project for continual improvement for daily business to make sure measurement capability and capacity in PQA area
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Monitor and track KPIs on related projects and measures on order, which are deployed from value stream by management
- Participate on fine measuring of raw material and sample parts daily review
- Problem analysis and measures define
- Independently define and implement practical ideas for improvement
2. Systematically analyze main problem, define preventive measures and practice on measurement
- Set up programs according to drawings for A/B/C/D samples and new parts
- Maintain the inspection plan in SAP
- Prepare drawing, test procedures, measuring tools and programs
3. Measurement competence development in PQA area
- Knowledge and skills to operate different and difficult parts fine measuring machines and tools as well as set up programs
- Be Familiar with the theory about tolerance of geometrical quantity, know the measuring theory and approach
- Can set a suitable measuring condition according to the measuring standard and give a right analysis and evaluation for the measuring results
- Compare testing protocol to target values. Prepare and evaluate results. Develop measures for optimization of processes
- Creative thinking way for parts fine measuring
- Train and coach measurement inspectors
4. Calibrate and Maintain measuring device activity
- Calibrate the measuring machines or tools before measuring regularly and make record
- Maintain fine measuring machines and tools regularly according to instructions
5. Communications on project implementation and measurement competency improvement
- Communicate with PPS&PMQ for PPAP sample parts projects
- Communicate with other functional department for problem solve
- Communicate with measurement device supplier on technical topics
