Let us describe the challenge we offer
According to the production plan and lean production principle, coordinate with carriers, plant logistics and IBL team members. Secure material arrives within planned lead-time and handle deviations. Make sure that the transportation status on track and update in time. Carrier performance management. There are different operations areas and the candidate will be assigned one or multiple areas (e.g. JIS transport, Milk-run, RFL, LTL, Cross-dock, Overseas sea and air, shuttle transport etc.)
What You’ll Do
· Major local contact window for Polestar plant supply chain regarding production material delivery/transport from the domestic suppliers.
· Coordinate with carriers to set up the material pick up plan based on the call off information.
· Manage the daily and monthly transport capacity with the transport companies in order to support the production plan
· Establish and keep all needed master data (e.g. lead time…) and maintain it in the relevant systems and communicate to effected parties
· Flow up of the material pickup and deal with the deviation if happens.
· Responsible for the transportation damage & claim process.
· Coordinate with Environment, Safety team for truck safety regulation and in-house traffic management in Polestar plant
· Cooperate with related functions for the overall smooth supply chain flow such as material handling engineering, supply chain coordinator, production planning, material handling, quality, production, etc.
· Manage the carriers performance in lead time and cost.
· Take emergency actions for premium transports where needed.
· Support the weekly and monthly reports (transport volume etc.)
· Coordinate with custom team for China custom clearance.
· Need to help coordinate shipments from AECQ to overseas locations where needed.
· Manage the consolidate centers .

Who You Are
· Bachelor’s degree or above.
· Automotive background preferred.
· Minimum of 5 year’s experience in planning or operating IBL flows in an industrial set-up (flow towards manufacturing facilities).
· Good knowledge of transport management software from a user or superuser standpoint. Microsoft office software like Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SAP
· Familiar with international transport for different mode. E.g. FCL, LCL etc.
· Familiar with different kinds of logistics handling: JIS, JIT, P-lane, SPS, Kitting, VMI, Kanban, Andon, etc. Skilled on logistics equipment, logistics IT system.
· Fluent in both oral and written English and be able to communicate with global team.
· Preferable on a new model car launch from beginning to mass production.
· Experience in production is an advantage
