On-Site Services Manager
About you
You are a leader with the drive to make things happen and the willingness to get the best out of every challenge. You enjoy organizing processes to be as effective and efficient as possible. Health & Safety matters to you and you strive for operational excellence. Then you are welcome to build the On-Site Services structure for India, West Asia and Africa together with us!
In addition, you have:
- experience in managing people and leading teams, ideally teams based in different locations
- relevant experience in operational roles (especially Manufacturing background), ideally in Steel industry
- good understanding of LEAN manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles
- Fluency in English will be crucial for working in an international team (any additional language will be considered as an asset)
About the job
The re-shaped Refractory Services team will be a center of knowledge and resources when it comes to delivering best-in-class services to our customers. In line with our strategy of providing tailored solutions to our customers, we are creating roles that clearly focus on the professional management of on-site services. Increasing our efficiency in site operations will lead to more success for us as RHIM – but also for our customers and their business.
This includes tasks like:
- Managing the execution of long-term service contracts at our customer sites through a team of experts in the region (Installation Managers, Supervisors, Service Technicians)
- Ensuring Health & Safety as priority in all contracts
- Implementing LEAN Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles to drive operational excellence
- Performance tracking and identification of added value to our customer’s operations
- Acting as counterpart of Sales Managers & Directors to develop existing long-term contracts and establish new targets in the region
- Cooperating closely and exchanging with On-Site Services managers of other regions to ensure that best practices are shared and implemented
