Title: Sourcing & Business Model development
Report to: Head of recycling China & East Asia
- Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the technology, process and quality improvement of recycling material in RHIM China.
- Responsible for sourcing & business model development of recycled refractories:
· Foster and develop new circular economy business solutions
· The driver of the “pull & push” process of the business development until it becomes regular
· Physically present in the selling regions, being the liaison of the BU recycling with the Sales Team influencing to have the recycling strategy implementation in the priority's agenda
· Perceived by our customers as a person with holistic and pragmatic knowledge in sustainable solutions
· Collect recycling bidding information via CRM (internal) and external channel (e.g. website…);
· Participate bidding in alignment with sales according to global souring guideline;
· Coordinate regional procedure in case of special sourcing case (e.g. payment terms);
- Collaboration with R&D, plants, technology excellence, sales and global recycling team to increase the recycling ratio in China.
- Identify internal and external customer’s requirement and cooperate with R&D to define recycling product portfolio.
- Work with global recycling team and local engineering team to optimize recycling products processing procedure in the project phase.
- Pay close attention to trend of international and domestic information on treatment of spent refractory recycling industry, evaluate the impact of major technology information, and put forward ideas and suggestions to the company for continuous improvement.
- Make SOPs and give trainings on recycling processing.
II. Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or above, ideally majored in Materials or Ceramic Science/Engineering and Chemistry or related field or college students in refractory field with experience exceeds 5 years;
- Be familiar with manufacturing & application of refractory and its market.
- Organized with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask.
- Self-motivated, independent and quick leaner for new knowledge.
- Be able to communicate in English by both written and oral are preferred.
- Open and flexible minded, efficiency.
III. Skills & Behavior:
- The candidate must be self-motivated and be able to perform as a member of the team;
- The candidate must have good comprehensive communication and leading skills; Excellent in Microsoft Office, good knowledge of SAP, good at SPC.

- The candidate must be able to solve problems independently or collaboratively and to anticipate alternative strategies to accomplish the same goal;
- The candidate must act as the leading role to coordinate various department to make recycling business running in effective way.
