Job Description
Responsible for refractory raw material procurement for RHIM Chinese plant, and supporting the purchases from Chinese suppliers for global demands.
Overall responsible for purchasing life cycle activities, including supplier sourcing and selection, bidding and bids evaluation, negotiation planning and negotiating, PO and contract award, and supplier performance management;
Maintain, collecting and summarizing market intelligence, analyzing and then developing procurement plan to ensure the best purchase can be achieved;
Maintain a healthy supplier pool, qualifying new suppliers together with stakeholders to ensure sufficient suppliers available for competitive bidding;
Working closely with R&D and plant in cost saving projects, identifying cost saving opportunities, developing execution plan and then implementing;
Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above, +5 years working experiences in an international company, and minimum 3 years purchasing experiences.
Integrity, self-disciplined, compliance to code of conduct and anti-bribery policies.
Good Logic and systematic, strategy thinking, risk control awareness, result oriented, and timing management skill, pro-active working attitude;
Strong negotiation, cooperation and communication skills
Knowledge of purchasing, supply chain and operations in manufacturing plants
Applies analytical skills and independent judgment to develop innovative, practical and consistent solutions to a wide range of complex problems
Fluent English in both written and oral
Proficiency in SAP *** and PO Handling, Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
