Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: ? Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the GBS center according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures and guidelines, and according to the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility (General Ledger). ? Functional expert for specific area, responsible for issue resolution and customer satisfaction for specific area. ? Supports organizational effectiveness through the identification and communication of process improvement opportunities. ? Team management. Key Responsibilities: ? Manage a team between 3 up to max. 8 people, ensuring full responsibility for team performance and execution in accordance with defined KPIs and in compliance with SLA. ? Responsible for HR related processes like Performance Reviews, recruiting, Talent management and development. ? Conduct markets routine tasks as chargeable FTE. ? Supervise team members daily work, perform quality checks on the work output within the team. ? Ensure period end processing responsibilities are completed on schedule to comply with global standards. ? Review BSR and make sure submission before deadline. ? Ensure compliance with Group Accounting policies, legal and tax requirements of the companies served. ? Maintain routine operation communication with BP. Monitor customer satisfaction and address specific issues, driving resolution measures. ? Promote cross-functional collaboration with other streams in GBS and group. ? Drive process improvements and process redesign in alignment with group and BP. ? Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise. Being the reference contact for internal and external queries that requires alignment between local GBS, Business Partners or within the team. ? Manage external and internal audit. ? During transitions: ? Ensure proper preparation and ensure deliverables from team; ? Ensure proactive and positive cooperation with local teams during and after each transition; ? Ensure that all processes are fully implemented in-house before sign-off and aligned as much as possible with the standard processes. ? Support line manager/director on other assignments. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: ? University degree in Accounting or equivalent education required ? Minimum 5 years’ GL experience ? Proven work experience in people management/demonstrated ability to manage a small/medium-sized team
